SCREENPLAY FINALISTS
Catalyst International Film Festival in association with the Writers Guild of Ireland (WGI) are delighted to announce the shortlisted finalists for the 2025 Short Film Screenplay Award.
The shortlisted screenplays and writers are:
A MAN by Cathriona Slammon
Bubbles by Anna Merritt and Deborah Wiseman
Womb Raider by Roisin O'Donovan
Black Forest by Valerie O'Connor
Dankworth & Daughters by Miriam Devitt
FLEETING by Shannon Welby
The shortlisted screenplays will be considered by the jury and a presentation of awards will take place in the Belltable Foyer on Saturday 5th April, 2025.
There will be a cash prize of €1,500 for the winner along with membership of WGI for a year, a book voucher and Catalyst trophy. The runner up will receive a cash prize of €500, membership of WGI for a year along with a trophy.
